American cheddar taste way different to our cheddar I prefer American cheddar cheese " No no, I love the cheese in the UK (even the cheddar ) Its just that cheese fries in the US have nacho cheese on them, which is cheddar mixed with other soft cheeses or something. So it stays all melty and gooey on the chips. So I prefer it over melted cheddar on my chips -Courtney

American cheese is made from milk. But we have things like Kraft and Velveeta who sell "slices" that can't legally be called cheese - not sure what they are made from. But that is not real American cheese -Courtney

"Salt and vinegar. Very occasionally brown sauce. I'm not a heathen dontcha know. " I love brown sauce! It has to be HP though. Personally, my tastes vary. Salt and vinegar almost always, unless I'm having baked beans, then I won't. Ketchup if there's no brown sauce, and sometimes, cheese and beans if I'm feeling like stuffing myself.
