Is it just me? Do not find this funny in the slightest.... In fact about as funny as realising you have diarrhoea just after putting a wet suit on.

I'm not too keen on anything that really revolves around the black experience, especially stand up comedians.

it's like those female comedians too..the ones who consistently try to use gender as their sole humour value..

90% of it all falls flat on its face...and I'm not a great fan of standup regardless(i know the OP's talking about a sketch show mind lol0, same value really.

I've watched a couple of them now. There are bits that are funny - as with any sketch show.

Some of it my just appeal as it has recognisable cultural references I can relate to, just as Goodness Gracious Me did.

Quite a lot of male comedians are doing the revolve around male gender value thing.

as I say, I find hardly any funny..I dont mind them in some panel shows..

I think people just generally end up laughing because someone else did at these standup shows..

I remember Russel howard explaining something that happened just yesterday...when it was in fact in his dvd a year earlier....

just amazes me people go for sellout tours to watch a person on stage using the same gags up and down the country for weeks on end...

Are they supposed to write new material for every live show they do?
