Somewhere in North Norfolk

I like giving.

I recently made a gift for a friend of my mum because she hadn't been given any birthday pressies, (even by her 2 adult children ffs). It made me sad.

I think I'm fairly generous.

The only thing I'm not generous with is trust. I like to think the best of people, to the point of being gullible sometimes, but it takes me a long time to truly trust a person.

By not being selfish, thoroughly unpleasant individuals, or those that only take, from my point of view.

I wouldn't be generous to those who annoy, me, fuck me over etc so, only to those i want to be generous too.

The Town by The Cross

Yes.

I also don't judge before I give.

Sometimes those that you want to give to least need it the most.

However...... i'm not a push over and generosity can be in spirit and assistance.

Money isn't always the answer.

Only if you are magnanimous with them.

It rarely is, in my experience, but it can provide useful assistance.

"Ha...is anyone going to say no I'm a selfish fucker? "

With some people I can be. If they don't deserve my time or efforts (whether financial or otherwise) they can go fuck themselves.

To those who do deserve it I'm infinitely generous.

I like to think that I am generous even though I am not often in the position to be so lately.

Finances apart, I have empathy for others and will give my time and experience of life, to those whom it would help.

I believe I can be more so... Sometimes when I'm driving I have doh' moment when I feel I could have given someone way....be it driver or a pedestrian.

Or other times perhaps I could maybe help up an old lady whom I've tripped up just as she was about to cross a busy road.

I've got much to work on.

To those I care for, I would say I'm generous. Everyone else, I can be, but that's more to make myself feel good than for their benefit.

Yes, if I feel they're deserving. You only get one shot at this thing we call life. You need to spread a little love if you can.

If it helps them along the way that sounds like a win win.

Learning to say no isn't a reduction in generosity.
