Absolutely love it!

With family, near the beach for walks/arcades/chip shops etc.

With friends, in the woods with a fine pit, drinks and music.

Love it....I love that I can just rough it for a while. ..not worry about what my hair looks like, go make up free and just enjoy doing stuff with the family. I even love it when it rains. ..The sound of the rain on the tent is quite soothing in a way

Love it, going away with my 6 year old on saturday for a week camping. He loves it too, have done it every year since he was born. Dreading when he outgrows it as I love the time it gives us together.

We have a expedition type tent and pop down to Dartmoor for a bit of wild camping now and again.

It's great, waking up with just us and no one else around for miles.

All boys on tour, so yes, although a bit of female company under the sleeping bag would be even better company!

"Just got back from a festival, love it "

Yeah Me too, had a great time and the camping was fine. I usually can't stand it. Wet, Cold and in the middle of knowhere, just a nuiacence really. This last weekend could have changed my mind slightly though.

So I now think that it's possible that I could enjoy caping under certain circumstances. Them being- 3 man tent for myself. Tent erected correctly and guaranteed not to leak. Pillows, got to have my pillows. I'm fine without a blow up matress or whatever, but I need pillows. Add an easy to use cooking stove and I think that thats me good to go.

Only thing is, it's still going to be freezing and I seem condemed to wake up bussting for the toilet in the middle of the night in the midst of a storm. This happens whenever I have went camping before.

So while It's now something that I am a lot more open to doing than in the past.. I don't think that I'm fully won over. Although now, for visiting somewhere, body or for many other events I now wouldn't hesitate to camp.

No. I tried it many years ago and it's not for me. I looked at glamping but I can't find anywhere I can go for just one night and it's all much more expensive than a really lovely hotel.

Love it, but my back disagrees with me. A rough night on an inflatable mattress is a good excuse to sit outside the tent stargazing and getting comfortably numb on scrumpy.

And when you get home, your own bed feels like your sleeping in the arms of Morpheus.

Woman's Hour is discussing camping as an early dating holiday! I can't imagine anything worse.

They are suggesting this is a good way to test whether a new relationship will work.
