"I love nectarines and peaches but they need to be perfectly ripe. Same goes for honeydew melon (love it with Serrano ham) and strawberries although sadly I can only eat one or two .

"I've recently started eating fruit. I've always had a problem with texture of food, not the taste. But I adore British strawberries and raspberries, I love them anyway, but the British ones, just have an extra 'yummyness' about them. And I can sit and eat Watermelon all day long. One of the few things I can taste the difference between organic and non organic. Incidentally my parrot adores pomegranate, but only in their limited season October to November, won't eat them at any other time. " I agree with your parrot - they are tasteless out of season. | |||
