a block away from heaven

I witnessed something today I thought went against the grain of this lifestyle. Myself and two other colleagues walked in on a confession of some sort. There is a lady who is openly into the lifestyle and has often spoken to me of the fun to be found in swinging, and that I should give it a try!! I have not ever responded to her advice on the fun to be found, and count myself lucky to have never encountered her or her partner on this site or in clubs. Unfortunately the temp (lady) in the accounts department had been recognised in a club.

The temp was asking for her to not let others know as she doesn't want any whispers circling the office this close to christmas; Whilst the other was encouraging her to be more 'up front' and open about it. They walked round the corner with the indiscreet of the two reciting a story that she had told me once on the stairs, which involved her husband and some others at the same club. The temp asked 'how could she share her husband' and 'it's easier for single females'. That's when they saw us, the temp turned bright red and walked out, and the other just seemed to stare at me.

I don't know if I am being paranoid or if the smug stare at me, has now alerted others of my lifestyle. Or her leaving words when she just said 'Not everybody feels the same'.

Do I have words or just leave it be???

I think that the temp was probably embarrassed that you were there and is maybe worrying about how much you heard

I don't think any of what happened is about you and your part of the lifestyle

I'd leave it be.

You are bound to be more sensitive to the situation/remark because you know that you swing.

Nobody else there knows and the woman sounds like a bit of an odd-ball anyway so nobody probably paid any attention to her looking at you.

You're all probably right, yet I'm now wondering whether she knows about me, and may be just taking the mickey, playing a game. I may just be a silly fool!
