Like many I kept my vinyl collection but some albums I never really got into but kept all the same.

Now I'm older and stupider I have found my music taste has changed, I can remember my uncle playing Dark Side of the Moon on his quadraphonic setup and thinking "Meh! ".

Now I drive the missus mad playing anything Floyd.

A guy at work mentioned Selling England by the Pound and I thought "ooh, I've got that ".

Now I'm hooked on that as well.

Anyone else experiencing the time lag in music taste?.

We got an old bush record player a couple of years ago. Cpuldnt afford the refurbished Dansette at the time. We now have about 80 records.

Nothing i like more than otis redding, the crackley sounds of the record and a large glass of red.

I get strange looks off my friends when they look at my record collection. They don't see why a 34 year old would have so much Frank Sinatra or Johnny Cash records. Personally I couldn't care less, I think the 1950s and 60s were great music decades.

Always in to Punk & Ska and to be honest not much as changed but you do get some good modern bands coming through.

Arctic Monkeys.

Royal Blood etc.

Some people like classical music, it don't get much older than that.

I remember my ex father inlaw playing ' Shine On You Crazy Diamond" through his massive sound system, I bought Wish you were here a couple of days later, Favourite floyd album.

Well yes that,s true, nice to Be able to follow some for a while Before leaveing you behind, thou I can follow the beautiful blue danube, by Joseph strauss as he enjoys Conducting His music for you to follow a jolly Classical song for those times.
