She passed away at her villa in Marbella, reports are saying natural causes at the moment but they're waiting for an autopsy to be sure.

I was really shocked go here this, 72 is no age especially if it is natural causes.

Many of the younger generation only know her through Saturday night television but with the brilliant "cilla" last year they got to know her through her first career.

She has a very wide circle of friends

same age as jay, there's certain people that have always been in your life, I'm 50 and grew up with her same as Bruce Forsythe and a few others, really not sure which entertainers of today will be around in 50 years time.

Cilla was one of those in our generation as we grew up in the 60's. She like others in show business, was part of our lives and to some extent, who fills the void these days when they pass on?

In my career in hotels, I met many stars from show business, sport and other sectors, but my one meeting with her as a guest at the hotel was so good on many counts. Down to earth, no airs and graces.
