Seems a tad extreme to just cancel because you think that.

"When someone goes quiet before an arranged meet, it's probably a fairly easy assumption to make. You don't need to be constantly messaging but dropping a line to say 'looking forward to Sunday' might be smart in future. You can't blame other people for your lack of communication. "

"Just been stood up. Arranged to meet a lady for a coffee this morning. But because I haven't messaged in the last couple of days she's made other plans. She rightly or wrongly thought me to be a time waster, such a shame the real time wasters are having such an impact on genuine people. Rant over, happy Sunday." Keep in touch next time lol

"If people don't keep in contact I assume lack of interest I'd have done the same as her" This . Had a meet arranged with a lady, who went quiet on me 4 days before the meet and didn't answer a confirmation text on the day, even though she was online here. Had good verbs too

Life's a beach communication is 2 way, I take it she didn't communicate with you" I would agree with that, but somehow on here its always the guys fault. I'm not in the habit of constantly bombarding proposed meets with messages. Just set a date and then meet on that date, i prefer to keep things simple.

" I would add i've never had anyone drop out of meeting either becasue they thought it was lack of interest. It did happen once with a club meet but i was'nt fussed becasue there was a club full of other people there to play with.
