"I do something for someone every day. Tiny things. I don't plan to it's just me. E.G. People in work gave me flowers. I gave them to the old dolly over the road who never gets out or owt. And smaller things. And even smaller than smaller things I park carefully etc....... I speak nicely to people. " Yup... it's those little things that cost nothing but are easy to do. Sometimes I throw out random compliments to strangers, I'm sure they probably think I'm quite bonkers but I remember years ago someone complimenting my shoes and it stuck with me.

"My friend's son has been poorly for a few weeks and she told me during the week that he's been really down in the dumps. Yesterday I went looking for a rude card for him, he likes posters of pretty ladies so I'm the naughty friend who buys him posters for his bedroom. Sadly I couldn't find a card anywhere with a busty babe on it so I made do with an ordinary card instead. Packed it with a packet of giant chocolate buttons and sent it through the post last night. She's just text me with a photo of him with the biggest grin and said that was his first spontaneous smile in three weeks. It's made me ridiculously happy. I send a lot of random nonsense post when my friends need cheering and even when they don't and it's quite possibly one of my most favourite things. When was the last time you did something for someone else that really made you feel great? What was it? " I would say I'm a big giver! I love to make things or buy things for other people it makes happy and them happy nothing expensive, you know, just little things or making cakes. I bought a wig for a friend who has alopecia, Iv not seen her for about 3 weeks and when I did, her hair had started to grow back! That made me super happy for her.

" A "mature/senior" lady had battled cancer and this year i've done her garden for her, as much colour and depth as possible. A somewhat croaked "it's lovely" was more than enough. " You see I knew you were a big softy at heart. That's a lovely thing to do, really lovely.
