I like a relatively empty beach for myself. For the children, somewhere with plenty to do, a nice sandy beach, places to explore and no rain. I'd like to visit the Lake district without kids one day. I went to Northumberland when I was a kid, the pine forests were beautiful and the air felt so clean and pure. we knew when we got back to London air

Catthorpe

Impossible to separate the Northern lakes (Keswick, Buttermere) from Bossiney/Porthcurno in Cornwall because the areas are so different and give us equal amounts of pleasure.
