I want a lie in!!!

But every single morning I'm awake at 6!!!

The kids are at their dad's, I have the house to myself, and I was up late. Why am I not still asleep?

Children have destroyed my bodyclock forever (sob!)

I never get a lie in either but when I do wake early I don't rush out of bed if there's no need....so make a brew get back under the duvet and enjoy the you time.

A natural early bird? I would love to be one. Unfortunately my desire to snuggle under a duvet until 8 is far too strong.x

I usually have 7 - 8 hours sleep anymore and I feel worse,

You should just turn the TV on and have a few hours watching It while you are still in bed

I'm usually awake early when I'd rather not be of late, need to get rid of that habit but a laze in bed, rather than jump out seems to help

I often have that argument with myself...."Why are you awake dafty?"

On the odd occasion that I do go back to sleep, I wake up an hr later like a stoned zombie....go figure.

I usually only sleep for around 4 to 6 hours a night, always awake before 06:00 regardless of what time I get to bed or what shifts I've done at work.

6 hours sleep would be a luxury! I suffer from chronic insomnia. 2-3 hours sleep has been the norm for me for many years. I've just come through a period of 7 nights with no sleep at all! That can destroy your life!

I think everyone's comments are meant in jest. Written text - you lose the tongue in cheek element.

I get up at 5.30 every morning, I have a springer spaniel alarm clock, and I'm on the field with her and my other dog walking buddies at 6am every morning.
