Hello to the rest of the Fab world outside of the UK.

We've had the occasional contribution from the US of A and Canada but it's rare.

Do you lurk and read the fora? Have you ever felt like posting but then felt shy? Do you think we (the UK posters) are all a bit too strange to interact with?

Come and tell us your stories, post your nonsens, educate us about your part of the world.

Do you come back often? Do you read the forum understanding what is being said but wondering what's happening here to prompt the thread? Do we seem weird at such a remove?

I think it's cool to talk to people from the UK. Most seem pretty down to earth and friendly. I think they are less uptight about sex in general. I do love SoCal though!

I've lived in a far more liberal country where people just go bollock naked on the beach wherever - but never a worry of a paedo - just giggling kids here & there

Dear OP, do you think that the media's obsession with sleaze is having a negative affect with the very people that 'read' it?

Dear OP, do you think that the media's obsession with sleaze is having a negative affect with the very people that 'read' it?

I think we're confusing paedophilia with nakedness and sexualising children and adult/child interactions.

I hope that isn't stopping people from other parts of the world communicating on here though.

Is it behind the times? Adult/child interactions were much more common. Now we have a number of cases where that was abused and so the reaction is to pull up the drawbridge.

Absolutely - but nudity is somehow offensive to some, - even on a beach where people go to be one with the sun!!

We're living in a warped society, IMHO!

I will say hi, officially I live in the UK but I travel to Asia and the Middle East for two weeks of every month.

Having said that I am on my last day of a three week tour.

Flying home tonight from Myanmar

So I am a bit of both UK and international.
