I started out in a couple on here. I've never been a single man but the ex was on here as a single man before we were in a couple and he's still here as a single.

He does very well as a single bloke. We were a bit hit and miss as a couple. All the parties need to click when meeting as a couple.

Some women do get a lot of messages. Others, like me, get maybe four or five a day if that. If all of them are two word or one liners with no pictures and a profile with no information then it's not a great choice.

I search and message those I want to meet and get the same treatment as some single men: I get blocked, read and deleted, read and no response and sometimes a reponse with a polite 'no thanks'. Every once in a while I might get some chatter going that leads to a meet.

I'm sure there are, but unfortunately not many women use the forums in general, which is probably the best place to showcase intelligence (or lack thereof) on here. Sure, they might have well written profiles, but that's no guarantee of intelligence, plus you have to find them first.
