Does anyone know how it 'picks people you may know' seemingly without you actually doing so ?

It has come up with people off here and to a degree I can see how it picks that connection up in cyberspace BUT a person has appeared tonight who is involved in a court case involving a friend ????

Facebook own WhatsApp so if you gave used that to speak to people on here it recognises their numbers and suggests them as friends.

If you use th ephone app it looks through your contacts for others who use phone app. Very intrusive although there is a work around.

Like most sites they dont make "Free" apps for our benifit

It reads your phone book email addresses

But the real spooky one is If say I looked at your Facebook page it would show me in the people you may know

Also it uses a algorithm to sort out things like same school employment and places you check into regularly

To find out if someone has blocked you search as normal for them if they don't turn

Go to blocking page put their name in and it will show them just hit block

Apparently Facebook think it is unfair if someone blocks you that can't do it back

Facebook is your biggest spy in your life apart from Google

If you use the Facebook app on your smartphone it collects numbers, both dialed and in contacts, and compares them phone number on Facebook.
