Catthorpe

Been to Jamaica a few times but won't be doing so again. Turks and Caicos will be our next destination.

Here occasionally, but mostly somewhere else

Been to Antigua about 5 times. Fantastic place, never had anyone tell me anything about another island that sounds better.

Been to a few over the years and, to be honest, they've all kind of merged into one another in memory cus they're all a bit alike. You know, white sand, blue sea, banana plantations, goat curry, rum and , and the occasional hurricane. All were great, but not much to choose between them. Our top tip is not to choose one of the large all-inclusive hotels because they tend to prevent the traveller from experiencing the island and the people. Well, in our experience

Are you looking only at the British speaking islands? I am from the French ones. Do you speak French?

Oh and best time to go depends on your heat tolerance. January/February on the French islands are nice months to go not too hot

If I do decide to go it will be all inclusive and to a English speaking island as I don't speak another language, But I have plenty of time to think about where to go,

Menston near Ilkley

Having spent four years cruising the Caribbean and visiting all the major islands I would advise you would be best taking in a few. There are several tall mast schooners plying the Caribbean with under 30 passengers.

Something I would love to experience!

For my 40th, I'm planning on doing a fly drive holiday of the American Deep South.

I'm already saving for it.

I agree Antigua is beautiful. It depends what you are after tho. Barbados is a lot more developed than other islands reminded me of being in America. I prefer a more traditional island so liked Antigua.

We went all-inclusive to Grenada for our honeymoon. (I sunburnt through my shirt ) We went in Sept 'cos it was cheapest. Fantastic holiday, once in a lifetime.

We talked about going back for our 10th anniversary, but luckily we couldn't afford it - the resort was totally destroyed by a hurricane that week

Central

They come cheap this time of year due to the hurricane risks.

I preferred St Barts, though also liked Anguilla. I can't remember the hotels but they were upscale and I may be able to find them. Visited during winter time.
