I think you'll find in amongst the titillation were some (not so) choice rvelations about what the Good Lord thought about various politicians

From The Sun:-

"Lord Sewel is said to have described Mr Cameron as "the most facile, superficial prime minister there's ever been", and Mr Johnson as "a joke".

He is also said to have called Scottish MP Alex Salmond "pompous", and claimed the reason former Labour Prime Minister Tony Blair took the decision to go to war in Iraq was "because he fell in love with George Bush"."

All ground-breaking, controversial stuff we didn't know about the day before

Oh the irony

He was one of the lords that campaigned the hardest to have the right to remove them for bad behaviour

Central

I think the security services have been aware of spies and others getting hold of state secrets from government members for years - it's not a new thing.

I kind of like the guy and what he's been up to, though he does seem a bit creepy.

"£200 hr for a night is so cheap , where did he find them"

Yeah, it was the bit on the recording where he cheerfully blurted that all this was 'on expenses'.

Ohhh dear...
