Just got to know for the first time that women float better than men in water.Apparently its a proven fact.Anyone is heard or know this fact? Wonderful World

I suspect it's at least partly because we usually have a higher proportion of fat and less muscle than men.

I float too bloody well. I couldn't stay seated in a friend's hot tub recently and the jets were shoving me around like a snooker ball!

Fortunately I was wearing a swimsuit in my friend's hottub so mine were under control and I didn't have to worry about them as I was ping-ponging around.

One of the reasons I stopped being a synchronised swimmer was my buoyancy aids were making staying under really difficult.
