Help me compile a driving cd please

My friends mum is taking my friend and I to the airport Friday and picking us up. She won't take money so I wanna make a cd for the car as a gesture which I know she'd appreciate cos we all love music.

She's 47 I think so her going out years would have been pre '86 cos that's when my mate was born. I know she likes Steve nicks cos I've seen it in her cd rack, also saw lots of Pete tong essential mixes, sasha, Carl cox essential mixes.

My music taste is mainly 90's onwards so what were the big clubby tracks in the late 70's early 80's?

If you want clubby tracks look on utube, there's loads of 70's/80's disco inferno type mixes - guess what I'm gonna be listening too this morning lol!

Judging from all the essential mix CDs she has I think she likes house and dance music but apart from Frankie knuckles your love I can't think of many big tracks from late 70's and 80's Carl cox I want you, maybe another one.

Think esge of seventeen for the Stevie nicks track, that's my fave or wild heart.

Like majority of posts here, unable to help with house music. Though the club soul and rock tunes mentioned all have their merits. On that basis here's my two pennyworth........Katrina& the Waves... Walking on Sunshine. Style Council...Shout to the Top. Doubt it helps but enjoyed indulging myself. Happy searching.
