Some do, just the same way some men do... but a lot of either sex just quietly and happily get on with their fab life.

I've also seen couples moan about not being able to meet who they want - should they go away somewhere else too?

It's not really about single people being on here as I know everyone wants something different. It is about the moaning. I don't even mind the posts asking for advice to improve their profile but it's the moaning that grates on me....now I'm moaning about moaning !!

I certainly don't. It is without doubt difficult being a single guy on here and probably is on those other sites as well. Most threads started by single males moaning about the lack of meets are just a desperate last ditch attempt to get some female attention. Not good to see but I can understand why someone might do that. I've learned to just chill and go with the flow myself so it doesn't bother me anymore. If you're an average guy like myself it can be very very difficult. Please don't underestimate that. All you single women and couples should try playing a single male for a few weeks. It would be a real eye opener believe me.

Remember single women and couples can just sit on their arses with the shittiest profiles and the shittiest pics if they want, and still get loads and loads of messages of which they can then pick and choose who if any they want to meet. Single guys are the complete opposite of that. Some guys have success. Good for them, but it's not easy.

On dating sites I think it's more even - not weighted in favour of women. There are still slightly mad people on there of both sexes. I said something on one recently to someone from Essex about TOWIE and got told I had stereotyped him and was a snob. Then I got blocked. I'd only just joined and thought - well this is going well !

Some threads are funny and run to the magic 175.

Some subjects should be avoided like the plague. Cheats, bareback, the clique, fisting are usually the most virulent.

Some days you'll wonder if you've upset someone, some days you can post no wrong.

Some threads you start will be popular, some threads will die on their arse.

There are some incredibly funny, incredibly clever, incredibly passionate people in the forums.

Most of all its a fun place, mostly populated by lunatics.....

And most of them would go out of their way to help and support one another, no questions asked.

I've been reading for a while and you do go through the emotions but I find it mostly funny

my partner was told to Google blue waffle. He showed me...it will stay with me forever !! I'll keep in mind topics to avoid. I would hate to upset anyone and if I do I wouldn't mean too. I don't like nastiness

I've been told I think too much. I'll try my very best to stop thinking

Stuff I've learnt on the forums;

Some threads are open minded, informative and educational.

Some threads are funny and run to the magic 175.

Some subjects should be avoided like the plague. Cheats, bareback, the clique, fisting are usually the most virulent.

Some days you'll wonder if you've upset someone, some days you can post no wrong.

Some threads you start will be popular, some threads will die on their arse.

There are some incredibly funny, incredibly clever, incredibly passionate people in the forums.

Most of all its a fun place, mostly populated by lunatics.....

And most of them would go out of their way to help and support one another, no questions asked.

Enter at your peril, chuckle till your sides split.

And if anyone tells you NOT to google blue waffle, take the advice, don't. Google will not be your friend.
