looks like we will det a day off for the royal wedding, good idea or a waste of a day for an already struggling country?

The Forest

As much as I'd like a day off, it will cost millions for to pay for all the overtime of public sector workers. Not to mention the cost of road closures, and transport over-use to the detriment of the citizens of London.

Good for tourism....souvenir sales boosting cash flow....productivity increases based on feelgood factor....
