What was your favourite toy as a kid?

I was a big Action Man fan, not so much the military stuff, but the explorer with the dog sled and the mountaineer. I also love my Britains toy animals and farm set. Things were so simple back then.

Hereabouts

I had action man, barbie and Ken.. I took them in the bath with me because one of my action men had scuba gear. For some reason I bit all of their noses off though...

I also used to have those little army men.. You know the green ones that came in big bags... Well I'd get stickle bricks and Jenga pieces and anything else I could find and make trenches... My sister and I would then take turns rolling a golf ball towards each others army and the last man standing won. However we could never agree on whether they were still alive if they were leaning on something

I think that was my favourite game/toy

My favorite toys were toy cars. I collected matchbox cars and got new one every Friday from my Grandmother.

Wish I'd kept them and especially in the boxes but toys are to played with not looked at.

Mr Matey does a colour changing bubble bath. Its blue, it hits the water and goes red, it's not a new product but its fucking ace.

I had a tractor and trailer as a kid - got it for my 3rd birthday

My Mum tried everything to get me to pick a Wendy House instead but not a chance

Went all over the place in it....put my sister in the trailer and off we went

Going too fast around a corner and her ankle bone scrapped up against the wall oh but the screams brought half the street out

The original little Polly Pockets - I had absolutely loads - and Barbie dolls. I'm an only child & I wasn't spoilt at all, but I remember getting the massive Barbie camper van in the late 90s for Christmas, that must have been about forty quid at least.

My late grandpa made me a brilliant Tudor style dolls house when I was seven or eight. It's still in my mum's attic. He wallpapered all the rooms and made all the furniture, definitely a family heirloom

"Never had action man.

I had Lego and meccano, when I was younger it was a Tonka dump truck. The thing was indestructible, we tried to wreck it.....we failed.

First thing every kid did with a Tonka toy was try to destroy it, lol"

The modern ones are plastic, not quite the same challenge.

Lego, Fuzzy Felt and hot wheels cars....strange for a girl I know, but I loved my cars - especially my beach buggy and transporter
