Time for a New Phone?

I have just noticed my phone has a tiny scratch/dint in the screen which is giving everyone's smileys a little Hitler moustache. It's putting a slightly unsettling spin on many of your posts.

Is it time for a new phone, or should I try scratching a Charlie Chaplin-esque bowler hat and walking stick next to it?

Oh bloody hell, that's like Space Invaders now

(Or a slightly fascist version of 'Where's Wally.)

Hi Miss I, Mrs ddc is always here, she's just a bit of a lurker rather than poster.

I've been having a break/desperately trying to finish planning our hols.

Not doing too well at the mo though

True, Mi mam never had these problems with her old GPO rotary-dial one either.

Problems of the modern world, eh?

And hello Mrs ddc

Bakelite is the answer but it may be to a different question.

"Bakelite is the answer but it may be to a different question."

That sounds like an ingredient for low-calorie biscuits

Pretty much everywhere in my Collins "Compete Guide to UNESCO World Heritage Sites" in southern Europe. (N.europe in 2012)

Last chance to drag the kids round some culture before they spread their own wings.

I always think of you guys when someone asks about using a professional photographer for their shots. No studio required.

As in "Don't bother using a professional, you can't make a silk purse out of a sow's ear, just look at Mr ddc"?

Charming!

{goes off to practise 'mock-indignation'}

Can I just say, when sober this was mildly unsettling.

Slightly tipsy, having Hitler winking at you is slightly alarming.

Please no-one start a Ukip thread

(Though it's even worse when he goes

at me)
