Hello Again!

Hello peeps, yeap, back here again, didn't think I would be but here I am, ok the problem in detail.

When Matilda had her first heel prick test one of the enzymes in her protein were reading over 1000, the normal level should be around 80, a second test taken a week later had the level at 970, we get a phone call from the hospital to call in the next day to discuss the issue, what we found out is this particular problem which effects 1 in 100,000 babies born if untreated will lead to liver failure, learning difficulties, balance problems and even blindness, well of course our hearts sunk at that moment, the special diet that was recommended was similar to a vegans which she would be on for the rest of her life.

They where so sure that the level was going to float that high that they had ordered the food for our next visit which was a month later, needless to say that before we even got into the consultants room to hear what we thought would be the bad news, he shouted across the waiting room "its good news", not know what exactly to expect, we sat down and he told us that the enzyme level had dropped significantly to just over 200, its still too high but not high enough to cause any health issues, my mrs instantly wept with the relief of this and I'd never felt so happy in my life, we're back in the hospital again in February to check the level again where they think it will be normal.

The enzyme level shouldn't have taken so long to drop in normal cases but for whatever reason it did with Matilda, needless to say we're looking forward to the rest of her life.
