I wouldn't disagree with that choice.

I'd certainly give pulp fiction in the top five along with maybe

Apocalypse now

Shining

One flew over the cuckoo

I would put Shawshank Redemption over Citizen Kane.

I'll concede Citizen Kane has many merits but there is a distinct lack of giant burrowing worms.

"Bladerunner.

Final Cut or, strangely, the original cinema release (with voiceover). My least favourite is the workprint version, the lack of Vangelis music at the end ruins some of the most powerful scenes.

I've not seen that one, Directors cut was better, the ending is more powerful.

The workprint was a pre-release version only shown to studio execs, never shown in cinemas. It has a few different scenes, a voiceover at the end (when Roy dies) and only a partial Vangelis soundtrack.

I have the 5 disc boxset with every version of the film to date.

I think I saw a still of one of the scenes, Deckard was in a house with daylight coming through the windows, can't remember who's house, I think leaving it dark was a better choice, why I like the end of the DC.

I love Godfather 1 & 2 and I think Godfather 3 is a good film ruined by casting the directors daughter.

If I didnt have to watch her in it it would be high up there on my list

"Purple Rain "

Really, I'm a prince fan but really,

under the cherry moon was better (if only for Kristen Scott Thomas) but both are no where close to a best title

No idea for a best, casino or pulp fiction are up there but not sure a personal best,
