Most bizarre excuse for not turning up to a meet? X

i am kinda new but this excuse did make me chuckle it was .......really sorry I never made our meet as I left my house and was walking to my car I trod in dog pooh and slipped banged my head on the pavement got concussion and lost my memory for 36 hrs ......there is no happy ending as the user left the site ....I just wondered what weird and wonderful excuses some of you have had x happy swinging x

Walked into a scaffolding pole got mild concussion another one walked into some guys fighting punched in the face got a fractured cheek bone .. Same guy 2 separate occasions

Pmsl had 1 guy we should have met at 9 pm contacted us at 01.30 am asking if it was still ok to call and can he bring a couple he had met earlier

1 guy we had was meant to meet at ours at 10pm, he text 20 mins before telling us he had forgotten he had to take his gran to the airport hahahaha. Oooookkkkk then!

Bloody time wasters she didn't show do you still want to meet?

Another guy, localish, didn't cancel but turned up late. He was nervous as hell which was uncomfortable anyway but then proceeded to tell us he got lost walking around to us, we found it amusing as it's a straight walk here hahaha.
