My jacket potatos had been in the oven an hour and half so went to check them and there they where sitting on the side so got to wait another hour and half

i do things like that too, usually i forget to actually switch the cooker on then have to wait ages on things cooking lol

Bung them in the microwave for 10 minutes and then finish them off for 30 minutes in the oven.

I've had things cooking away in microwave, then I hear the beep but when I go to take it out, it's on the side, just like your potatoes. It's a conspiracy, just like the socks vanishing from the washing machine, there's a phantom sock stealer and a pixie who moves yer food around, I'm sure they exist and one day I'll prove it ...
