I would say it has something to do with when you last came but I had a long fuck yesterday afternoon, and quick wank before bed...

Woke up horny, as per.

Doesn't it have more to do with raised male hormone levels in the morning?

Wouldn't say I generally wake up thinking about sex! Maybe that's a man thing?

But on the very rare occasions I wake up in bed next to a guy, the first thought that enters my head is 'will he mind me waking him up at 5am to shag me? - what if he woke up with my mouth round his cock - would that help him to ignore the time on the clock?? '

I think waking up refreshed and raring to go after a good night's sleep has something to do about it...

It's actually an unconscious effect of a very full bladder. An erection that you could hang a wet duffle coat from is the last thing you need when your bursting to go. It's a very good excuse to use it though.

Ain't just a biological function related to being asleep with a full bladder?

From google...

Men have several night-time erections. On average, a healthy man has three to five erections during a full night's sleep, with each erection lasting 25-35 minutes. It's common for men to wake up with an erection, informally called a "morning glory". This is in fact the last in the series of night-time erections.
