We are 25!!!

Don't you just hate that, when you're searching through the profiles on here and you find that one that stands out. You read every word of the biography and interests. You think they sound perfect and too good to be true. You fab all of your favourite pictures in their public folder. You proceed to press the message button then...

right in the kisser.

You can not message this person because you are not in their age range.

We double take their profile again thinking, but I must be. I pressed the button I am in their age bracket.

But you didn't and they want someone that's just one lousy year older than you. One bloody year

Guess I'll have to just sit and wait

Of course shit happens, we aren't going to just sit there twiddling our thumbs and let time go by.

Just saying it's annoying that it doesn't stop that from happening. The option should be opting out of displaying people who you are only in the age bracket of.

It's the same on both end of the scales (been many threads on here bemoaning a cut off date of 40 from 41 year olds for example), lines are drawn for a reason. Live with it and focus on those that DO meet your parameters is the advice usually given ..

We thought we had the box ticked to say be in their age range.

What I'm saying is. It should automatically search for who's age range you are in. The box should be for searching all profiles regardless

The advanced search feature is good at filtering out those who's preferences you don't meet and hardly takes an age to use.

Age, ethnicity, location, gender - all easy to set.

If you fab their pics they may notice and then contact you . It worked for me once .
