Could anyone pass a bit advice on about wigs what's the best to buy that looks genuine I have bought a few over the past an most of them have been cheap an tacky

Try afro carribbean shops.

My local one I can get human hair, mid length for around 40 quid.

They'll let you try on too - men as well as women. Take a friend with you who has similar taste to you, understands what look you're after and is honest enough to tell you "not that one" even if you love it.

I'm sure there will be fab friends who might help if you're not out to your closer circle.

When you do purchase a wig..go along to a salon and get it cut to fit your face shape. Way too many people just purchase them and off they go...a good wig should not look like a wig at all.

I agree with Zoya - a wig that's cut for you will look better. Get a style that works your face, enhances your femininity and will be easy to maintain.

After care is important too, so research and learn.
