"I am in the process of getting 7 old tattoos covered up, they are all over 20 years old and faded and well a bit shit," Agree that the old ones fade and don't look so great. The original foot tatt I had was really bad so I had it covered up and made larger, now it's looking dated I need to consider another cover up!

" when you're 18 you don't think about being middle aged " Very true. Visited the tattoo shop today, they took one look at the dated ink and wasn't impressed, suggested cover ups for both of them but they're fully booked for the next 3months. Something I didn't realise is the sun fades the ink and to always wear sun lotion on them.

It was the first time I'd properly for my pin up tattoo out on the sun and that part of my leg really felt sore even though I was putting cream on all day.
