Sometimes U.K

Having a fairly old foot tatt that was done free hand I would love to have it covered up in time.

Anyone else wanting a crappy tatt they have to be covered up?

Cheeseville, Somerset

There's a few on C4 right now!

Can't believe the one of the guy fucking his mates mum with "me" and "Finns mum" over the cartoon.

As for the guy with "12 inches" ?

He's probably on here!

If I really hated a tattoo I'd have lazer treatment.

But I don't see any problem with a cover up, there are many great tattooists out there.

I'm always worried about tattoos becoming just a black unidentifiable splodge which is why I cover mine with high protection suncream and always put a towel over my feet if I'm sunbathing. And I've had my foot tattoo redone to keep it looking nice

Agree that the old ones fade and don't look so great.

The original foot tatt I had was really bad so I had it covered up and made larger, now it's looking dated I need to consider another cover up!

I've had some of mine covered up, you can still see them through the newer tattoo but it's not obvious to anyone who doesn't know.

My 24 yr old tattoo still looks ok, needs a better outline but can't really tell it's that old.

I had some right twattish tattoos when I was young I had a guns n roses tattoo on my arm the cross logo with the heads because when I was a teenager I loved them, by the time I hit my mid 30s I'd long past out grown them and i just looked a knob head withagrd so it had to go so I had a half sleeve

when your 18 you don't think about being middle aged

Very true.

Visited the tattoo shop today, they took one look at the dated ink and wasn't impressed, suggested cover ups for both of them but they're fully booked for the next 3months.

Something I didn't realise is the sun fades the ink and to always wear sun lotion on them.

Last year I went to Turkey. It was the first time I'd properly for my pin up tattoo out on the sun and that part of my leg really felt sore even though I was putting cream on all day.
