The white knight intervenes on the issues of feminist angst, to support at all costs. This is done in the hope of somehow getting a free lunch. The female version does not exist. They are never so hard pressed for fun, as to need to adopt pantomime attitudes.

Not sure about White Knights, but if you believe the conspiracy theorists the Black Knight Satellite has been monitoring us Earthlings and orbiting the earth for over 3,500 years!

Google for more ... Fact or fiction?

that ...

There is no female equivalent of Knight.

There are tendencies to use dame but 'lady' is the best match

howeverrrrrrrrr

I like the French.... Chevaleresse'

So ... Chevaleresse Blanc

Or White Nightie ???

The male version, as defined here, doesn't really exist either.

The 'White Knight' is just a label dreamt up by anti-feminists to dismiss male supporters of feminism. It's sad and shallow; as if the only a reason a man would care about equality is to increase his chances of getting laid.

The way White Knight is used on here is nothing to do with feminism. Its a bloke who will support a woman with an untenable opinion on the forum in the hopes of getting a shag. That's it.

I'm going with 'interfering baggage'.

It isn't something invented by feminists at all. It was coined by psychologists who see the harm that such men do to themselves and their relationships when they suffer from white knight syndrome.

C'mon, you know my sexism antenna went up on that one.

Interfering men get called White Knights but women are old bags?

I'll change the white knight moniker for men to sad sacks then.
