So I was watching Shrek with the sprogs last night ...

And got to wondering when you might have heard this song for the first time ?

And which version is your favourite ?

Jeff Buckley, Leonard Cohen or other ?

Leonard Cohen all the way because of watchmen.

Side note, awesome soundtrack, awesome film.

Watchmen not Shrek.

It has to be Jeff Buckley for me . So much passion and angst.

Even Cohen said he made the song his own.

Shrek is a great funny feel good film :-

Theres a clip off youtube where a vicor sings it at a wedding (In Ireland I think).

This version and then Alexandra Burkes version.

Its the only word that is the same in all languages
