I am beyond lonely,

I am beyond isolated and broken

I am beyond hope and dreams

I am beyond help or being understood

I am beyond my life

I cannot see clearly or know what I want

The darkness is all absorbing and chokes me of any light

I hope for death and yet still I have breath

I do not know why I am still here; I do not know why it has to be

I tried singing that to the tune of 'my old man's a dustman' but it didn't quite work.

This is a tricky one: so having to prepare 2 answers here ..

Answer (a) if OP is genuinely depressed : there help out there, people who can talk to you and make you feel better xx

Answer (b) if OP is fine just in the mood for some poetry etc : still, you've gotta laugh haven't you!
