"On our buses mums are allowed to use the spaces but must move if a wheelchair or someone needing space more than them get on which I think is fair " I agree with this. It's the same in Brighton; wheelchair users have priority

"If it's a disabled space the disabled have priority. We need to cater for mums too. There should be a buggy space. I couldn't get my children on the bus I had twins with a twin buggy. We walked to railway stations." The London old route master buses weren't designed for anyone but the able bodied when I had young children, so getting them on wasn't an option.

"I think mums with prams and disabled users should be treated equally. So the reserved seats should be a first come first served basis " Why? The woman chooses to have the baby & take them out and if that was the case with the amount of buggys brought on a bus a disabled person who doesnt choose to be in the chair who could then have to wait hours for a bus with a free space. Buggys fold down for a reason

What does take the piss is everyone on the bus tutting at you because you are taking too long to fold up your pushchair while trying to juggle a nappy bag, a hand bag whatever little shopping you have while trying not to drop a baby.

Buggys fold down for a reason " if the woman's happy to fold and stow the buggy and cope with the child .. She should not take the disabled seat in the first place .. If the kids too young to do all that safely she should be offered that space as long as a disabled person isn't already occupying it
