I have never understood why you are supposed to act a certain way at different ages. Ok up to say 16 then maybe 21 you act in a different way. But does someone aged 45 have to behave differently to someone 25? If so why?

Well it's my 52nd birthday on Sunday and I don't care who knows. I certainly don't feel my age and looking back on how my mum behaved at 52 I certainly don't behave like one.

my daughter constantly criticizes me for just about everything really

im to old to wear the underwear i wear

im to old to listern to the music i like

you name it i shouldnt be doing it lol

i remember once she threw all my underwear away, said it was just wrong that someone my age had stuff like stockings and corsets so she binned the lot and told me to start acting my age

My mother was helping me recently to tidy through my wardrobes, found corsets stockings toys and just laughed, she even put the porno on the bookshelf for me.... the box of butt plugs had her a bit nonplussed though.

My daughter is a different story though....she was dating a guy 12 yrs older than her and I was dating a guy 12 yrs younger than me and she was disgusted with me as our boyfriends were the same age.

I eventually finished with him to keep family peace.

Mine would have been looking for a new home if they'd tried that malarky. If they're old enough to make decisions for you, the parent, they're old enough to meet the cost of running their own home.

I believe I am young at heart, however, I am reminded about my age by my younger colleagues due to events of the past that they have no recollation as they had not been born!

Like the recent stormy weather reminded me of the Great Storm of 1987, and while talking about the event, a little voice in the corner piped up and said, "Eh, I was not born until the year after!".

Awwww, bless! I am old enough to be her mum!

My 19yr old daughter and I were chatting whilst I was looking for something in my wardrobe. I try to keep my play clothes at the back so to avoid such a discovery but she's a nosey bugger! She gasped and asked what I was doing with 'something like that at my age'!LOL It's more like a large belt and leather effect. She said it was to short for someone my age. I made up a reason saying it was for a vicar's and tarts party. What else could I say!!!
