the good lands, the bad lands, the any where you may want me lands

following on from the packing the car, we're off to the seaside thread...we've arrived! Hip Hip Hooray, now, all run off with your bucket and spade each and pop in the bucket the first thing you find on the beach. Try and remember its Sunday morning and there may be some fragile people reading this...

Im first, sea

Putting the 'cum' in Eboracum

I always keep an eye out for sea smoothed glass for my mothers collection. Its usually green, but you can still find blue, and I even found a yellow piece once.

A few years ago I walked the beach collecting different colour/shape shells for a young child who was with us,

She loved them,

And I had a great time perving at the semi naked Women at the other end of the beach

I must go down to the seas again, to the lonely sea and the sky,

And all I ask is a tall ship and a star to steer her by,

And the wheel's kick and the wind's song and the white sail's shaking,

And a grey mist on the sea's face, and a grey dawn breaking.

I must go down to the seas again, for the call of the running tide

Is a wild call and a clear call that may not be denied;

And all I ask is a windy day with the white clouds flying,

And the flung spray and the blown spume, and the sea-gulls crying.

I must go down to the seas again, to the vagrant gypsy life,

To the gull's way and the whale's way, where the wind's like a whetted knife;

And all I ask is a merry yarn from a laughing fellow-rover,

And quiet sleep and a sweet dream when the long trick's over.

Sand to make walls to keep the tide out when it comes in. It never works , but it's great fun trying,
