While browsing tinder one day I changed my settings & had a look at women 40+ During my swiping, I saw someone who goes to the same gym class as me on a Friday, quite an attractive lady who I have a little banter with. Her profile said, "looking for fun." Obviously I swiped right. We haven't matched, but that could be because she hasn't set her age range as young as me?

Anyway, the question is, do I just ignore this or do I mention to her in private that I saw her on tinder? We don't work together or anything. Thoughts?

Part of me says go for it, she put herself on there to be seen unless someone did it for a joke. However another part of me says real life and virtual life should never collide.

Putting the 'cum' in Eboracum

She's on Tinder, you're on Tinder, I'd go for it myself (although it would take me about 6 weeks to pluck up the courage to say anything).

Exactly what I was going to suggest.

I'd approach her on Tinder and NOT mention the gym.

If he'd said he'd seen her on Fab, you would all have said don't say anything to her.

Why should the fact she is on Tinder be any different?

If she likes him on Tinder she will match with him on there.

Talk about double standards.

It's inappropriate imo to raise it with her. Your privileged with additional info about her but she doesn't have this about you.

Assume that people have set preferences because that's what they want. By all means be friendly and flirt but wait for her to show more interests, if any, in you.

Ifbyou know each other in real life nd it hasn't gone beyond acquaintance why do you think mentioning you saw her on tinder would make any difference?!

Is it some magic word that will make her look at you differently?! Dating apps seem to have created a generation of people unable to communicate that they like each other in the real world!
