Without a doubt there is a lack of sincerity in throwing compliments at a profile , or agreeing with posts on the forum to try and get a meet . The disingenuous compliments are rife .

But when they come face to face AFTER a meet there is a bit more reality and truth involved , and these are what I mean .

I joined my local gym last November. Some of the equipment I couldn't even get on. I look in the mirror and don't see any changes even though clothes are falling off, family and colleagues have commented on the weight loss, thought they were taking the piss. The trainers in the gym have also complimented me but I put it down to them having to say that.

In the gym on Monday one of the blokes who is always there no matter what time I go stopped me and said, I've been watching you since you first joined. What an improvement, you've done so well, good on you.

I'm not one for compliments, but what can I tell you, I haven't stopped smiling since!

So do I actually. I remember when I went for my phone upgrade and the assistant asked my date of birth. He blinked said no way and shouted across the shop to a colleague you'll never guess how old this lady is!

My other half was surprised at me putting my real age on here saying I could easily knock ten years off. Even the doctors comment on it.
