Tomorrow I have the delightful task of going to watch my 10yr old perform with Mr tumble at the Manchester opera house, and then attend his primary school leavers assembly. During this time I'll be spending it all with my ex and his new partner. So my post on here really is how many people put up with a day with their ex et al for the sake of your kids or would you go to the events separately

I "spend" a fair amount of time with my ex, as the kids are so busy with clubs, events and competitions.

Tbh our relationship is a lot friendlier now, than when we were together, as we both know we won't be going home together

Yes I must admit I like him better as a person I don't have to share my life with fully

I have a good relationship with my ex we get on well however she is in Yorkshire I am down south so we don't see each other much apart from FaceTime.

I got his school report over FaceTime and to see his face beaming gave me loads of pride.

My ex knows we will not get back together so no pressure and fall out.

Neither of the exes i have kids with have partners, but tbh i would go to anything with the ex i get on with and his new partner if he got one. I'd like to get on with her coz if she was interested in going to something like these events of my kids then she obviously cares about them and has some interest in their welfare and lives.

The other ex i wouldn't even wanna go with him, never mind anyone he chose to bring in his life, but if she didn't cause me problems then i'd not begrudge her going.
