What do we sound like?

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

It's been a while since this was done (Cute n Sassy, A few years back, I think).

What do you think the people on the forum sound like?

I always think Miss_Tress has a deep voice, has a nondescript but London accent until she gets annoyed when she will throw down some Jamaican patois. I also think she has a soft, high girly giggle.

I think miss innocent sounds like she could have been in the full monty, one of the women who make a comment on the guy with a huge dick when he jogs past them, I'm not sure what region it's set in

Having met a fair few forumites over the years it's always quite funny to actually hear their voices after just reading words.

There's been a few surprises! (Not mentioning any names!!).

Some you assume will sound 'regional' based on their location only to find they do - but not from where you expected.

Still yet to meet a guy who sounds like Joe Pasquale or a woman that sounds like Janet Street Porter.

But I'm sure they're out there somewhere.

I am very curious about what you all sound and look like, since, unlike many of you, I haven't met anyone on the forums. I do have the idea that miss innocent has a deep, 1930s Hollywood actress voice (not the accent), but I'm not sure why. And I always have a cartoony Scottish accent in my mind when I read someone's post who is from Scotland

in the suffolk countryside

i feel its more their tone than the pitch that affects me..

someone with a racy brain can tire me out.. love enthusiasm sounding when someone is inspirded or connects the dots, gets a solution to a problem..that kind of thing..certain accents do it for me..but its the tone in which they are used, not the accent itself.

i dont think i have an accent, certainly not from where i am living or where i was born...some English and Americans think i am Australian..some Australians think i am American...haha

ive lived in both places..so maybe im an accent chameleon

We have pretty nuetral accents but the closest would be slightly Brummie. We have a high pitchness to our voices but not that annoyingly squeaky sounding noise.

I don't like the sound of my voice so try not to speak much. It's been described as a bastardised South Estuary crossed with Brighton with a strong streak of East Midlands. Awful.

"Whenever I read Tina's posts I imagine it's Danny La Rue speaking.

Tina was more regional than I thought she would be."

I've naturally got quite a soft voice (when I'm dogging in the dark I have to make it unnaturally deep so people know the score in the dark), but a fairly strong local accent. Saying, 'Ey up, mi duck, tha reyt ower theer? Bout time we got some snap on go.'

Mysterious Guy - he is definitely Ray Winstone's voiceover double.

Mr and Mrs Polk - I always think of him talking and typing in rhyming slang....

Minxie's voice was amazingly fruity.
