Will you meet up with completely new people , who have never done this before, we are chatting to a couple , but they won't send face pics, but want to talk on the phone, not sure what to think, they could be nervous or just plain ugly !!

How do you go about meeting up with newbies? Xx

Well I'd definitely ensure I also spoke to the female half on the phone, then insist on a no strings social drink one day (after work??) with view to a play date at a later date.

Everyone has a first time so I can understand them being nervous, but to expect you to play without seeing them first is unreasonable.

probably the way you do... but not seeing face pics is a red line for me... I am not into blind meets....

I have met lots of people before seeing face pics and I've been pleasantly surprised when meeting them. If you don't like them when they turn up just say 'I don't think this is going to work' no other explanation is needed.

I don't mind a blind social meet but experience has made me very wary of blind meets with a view to an immediate active meet. Even meets after seeing pictures are frought with hazards! Some unscrupulous people use very old photos and even photos of other people!

Like other people have said arrange a social meet first to see how you get on with no pressure to take it further if everyone's happy then arrange a play meet

Get them to give you their phone number, so you can talk before meeting. Ice breaking for newbies is difficult. If this goes OK arrange a social drink meeting place. "Step by step". Also let the females talk and make the arrangements, that's what we do. Hopefully this will help.

Personally we wouldn't meet anyone who won't send a face pic, if they are shy about that, how shy will they be when the fun starts? There are so many lovely people out there to meet, why waste time guessing whether they are mingers. Lol.

As above.When something becomes hard work,it'll probably continue that way.

If you have their number and Facebook on your smartphone,they may be in suggested friends on there.A meet added me on FB after I was suggested due to them having my phone number.If you know their real name,could be worth checking...?

That would put me off just that.

Irrespective off whether they were new or not.

As far as couples go.

I met a couple once where the husband thought he was cuckold.

Little did I know that was the first time they'd tried it.

He kind of freaked out.

And that rattled me.
