Could someone please try and explain to me what a guy gets out of pursuing someone relentlessly to meet them and then doesn't turn up, it's happened a few times and I am pretty pissed about it.

My guess is they get overly excited at the upcoming meet and crack one off removing their desire so they bottle it.

Happened to us recently.

Guess the thrill is in the chase for some?

Maybe they get too excited before meet blast their wad wanking and are spent before and can't be arsed

I guess it's just people who enjoy attention online but lack confidence deep down, for whatever reason.

Maybe try to advance talks quicker to an actual meet or something? Or ask for their number? It's never happened to me regularly but it happens across all profile types.
