On Ch4 now.

This chapter claims their numbers are growing. Klan members are expected to recruit new members.

Seeing KKK members with the classic Nazi salute and wishing each other a nice white day!

I can't watch them without thinking of that scene from Django, but then again, its not a joking matter ..... having experienced some of their ripples when living in the USA

Cheeseville, Somerset

I'd get too pissed off watching that.

I'm watching the BBC4 thing on the end of the Vietnam War.

Mind you. This is pissing me off too.

Good to remember they exist everywhere ... and how they got to be where they are. Fascinating I think

They are complaining that they are being outed as Kkan! The robes, the leaflets and other little clues might be giving them away too.

Sad, lonely, ordinary people dreaming of power and being extraordinary. The only power they can see is to claim to be a superior race.

Claiming to be Christian men of peace. Of course if we change that to another Abrahamic religion everyone would be tarred as evil. Why is this form of extremism and hate still permitted in the US of A?

I suspect the other 93% of victims, and their remaining families, are not too impressed either.

Statistically, improving that towards 0% would be more beneficial.

AW, the grand poo bah has a black friend. He can't be racist then.

I went to see Dear White People yesterday. There's a great line in it at the start: Dear White People, the official quota of black friends to not be racist has increased to two.

I'm finding it hard to take anyone called Imperial Wizard Rick seriously!

Truly shocking how they killed that young man...

New member likes their morals and values.

As the film maker says, The thing that binds them is their fear. Fear is always the friend of the ignorant and there are none so ignorant as those who don't want to learn any different.

Sad, sad programme.

Imagine is covering Toni Morrison tonight and presenting her "Black Book" and "Beloved".

It's interesting to see the other side so close to yesterday's programme.

Still can't fathom that in this day and age we still have ignorant people who are part of these groups. So sad that we still have ignorance and that people believe that someone should be treated differently because of the colour of their skin.

Were they sad, ineffectual people seeking some power and justification to their being?

And yet they seem to be on the rise in some places.
