I would suspect that it's less to do with who you do or don't find attractive and more a matter of honesty - in their eyes.

That would extremely upset a lot of transgender women who can often go through hormone therapy to grow breasts, live fulltime as women and are legally recognised as such. They view themselves as women as much as you do yourself.
