little house on the praire

I went to the pub as we where having a kind of charity party for my friend who died of a heartattack the other week. I saw so many friends that had travelled from all over, some as far as newcastle. Some i hadnt seen for 25 years. We all hung out in our younger days. Most hadnt changed at all and the years had been good to them. I wonder whether they thought the years had been kind to me or not they all recognized me though.

I did however come home early as it was a very emotional night but it also brought back lots of good memories from years gone by, just a shame that people tend to all get together at sad events when you get older

Nothing wrong with coming home early, and certainly nothing wrong with having emotions about your friend

Hugs x

.

It can be the same with family, whilst my Mum was alive I had regular contact with my step brother and neices.

Since Mum dies 9 years ago I have seen them once.and that was the Christmas as she died in the November.

The only other times I have had contact was when the youngest Grandchildren, turned 18 demanding to know when their share of the inheritance was turning up
