"No that sounds horrific tbh " Yes, but think about the positive side too ... All rapists, murderers, thieves etc. Would be caught. Your children would be safe. You're home would never be burgled as the chip would show who did it.

" It would deter most people from committing crimes where they're afraid of the consequences of being caught. But things like murder and rape would still happen all the time as they're not subject to the same thought processes. " While I agree with you the numbers would definitely decrease knowing you would get caught, crimes of passion would still happen but the offender would always be caught. Rape wouldn't happen or would be seen on camera and stopped, remember every inch is monitored so no catching someone down a dark alley with no witnesses.

"No that sounds horrific tbh Yes, but think about the positive side too ... All rapists, murderers, thieves etc. Would be caught. Your children would be safe. You're home would never be burgled as the chip would show who did it. " The crimes would continue but people would be caught. Knowing that may well lead to a more fatalistic view of being hanged for a sheep as a lamb. As the poster above said, someone will be along to say it's here already. The UK is the most surveiled place you can be. We can't afford the number of people to watch all the other people. The prevalence of mobile phones already makes you trackable. Life is about risk. Take all the dangers away and we become lesser beings. We will still seek ways of getting the thrill of being bad in some way. Your example of the criminals will apply to sneaky lunchtime meet with that married woman, or the use of devices at work to be on Fab. I'll take crime, danger and working on teaching people to be more thoughtful of each other than more control.

"Imagine this... A safe society where there is virtually no crime, and if there was the culprit would be caught. But, to get it everybody is implanted with a tracking chip showing where they are at all times, cameras cover every inch of the city, all cars are fitted with cameras monitoring the front, back and sides. Any crime would be nearly impossible to get away with as the chips and cameras could be accessed by police to see who was in the area and what happened. Would you sacrifice your privacy for a crime free place to live? " Then how long would it be before we are guilty of thought crime as well?

"I don't care what they track of me, they can look through my phone computer and anything else they want to look at, I can spend my time living in fear of a government that is trying to hold down the poorest people or I can spend my time making sure I'm not one of those poor people, you see everyone is operating under the assumption that life is fair, it's not, never has been, never will be, and it's ok bitching and whining that your life is shit, but did you have to walk 10 miles for water this morning? The uk is soft, we moan about everything when we should be putting that effort into keeping our head above water, that's the only way to survive in this world, I remember before the influx of migrant workers from Poland and the like, people moaning about not having a job, and in the next breath saying "I'm not doing agency work" the polish got here and said " yeah I'll fucking do it" so when you are moaning about freedom, and the government and how your life is shit, just remember, it's ultimately up to you what you do with your life, if you want to earn enough money to live on, earn enough to live on, only you can improve your skill set, and if you are worried about what web sites the government are seeing you looking at, should you really be looking at it? " That all depends on what the govt see fit to class as fit for looking at, at any one time. How long before this site is classed as illegal? Put the equipment in place to monitor everything, then change the rules as to what is "acceptable". It's a very old trick.

"Are there cameras inside people's houses? What about domestic abuse? Yes the chips will show that the people are in the house but they can't prove domestic abuse.. For example a woman punches a man in the face until he bleeds.. Then at the court case she says that he punched himself or deliberately smashed his face off something to get her done for abuse (it's happened).. A crime has occurred but there's no evidence unless there's cameras in people's houses too. Or another example.. A woman goes home with a man.. The chips say they're in the house together.. Then he rapes her. (Not necessarily violent rape as that would show up on an examination.. But say he refused to use a condom after she said she wouldn't have sex without one. Define that how you like, it's still a crime.) there's no evidence of the conversation held that she said she didn't want to have sex without a condom. There will never be no crime.. " Cameras everywhere, it's known where everyone is, what they're doing at all times.

" People are inviting cameras into their homes, in the guise of smart tvs, games consoles, laptops, tablets etc. The capability is there to switch them on without your permission. That's one way of getting the equipment in place, either by subterfuge or openly invited in. You wouldnt let in cameras if the govt tried to force them on you.

Pointing out flaws is not trolling. The point of of a fit up, is its ignoring or planting evidence. What if you have no witnesses? Don't have too much faith in the police.
