How do you get out of the friend zone

With out loosing that friend in the process

Or is it impossible...am I screwed

The only way is to talk about it with your "friend " and be honest about how you feel. Otherwise it will only get in the way. They may feel the same as you do, and if not, at least you've shown them that you are being straight with them. Good luck

Near impossible to get out of the friendzone! We put you there for a reason...

But if you make a move and it goes horrificly wrong then remaining friends shouldn't be an issue.
