"And what would people suggest - pens or pencils?" I started with Stabilo Fineliners 88.. and had a roll up pack with 25 vibrant colours.. they didnt bleed through to the other pages and i didnt have to use any pressure to get a strong colour Ive since progressed and experimented with pencils (just crayola and WHSmiths own brand for now) and loving the ability to blend tones together. My mother has a higher class of pencil some 'Faber Castell Polychromos' pencils.. more expensive but just feel WOW to use Hard to describe really

That means I'm limited to about 25 colours, which isn't much variety. There are some gorgeous TomBow artists brush pens in a zillion colours but at £2-3 each, they're out of my price range." the pens ive used are the Stabilo Fineliners 88.. they were initially quite scratchy until i used a scrap bit of paper and used them with a bit of pressure to almost mould the tip to my preference, now they are soft and comfortable to use. £10 for 25 in Sainsburys Few Fbook groups have people just using gel pens from £1 shops that look good

They were £8 for a set of 10 and they're nice. It's still quite expensive for felt tips, but not as bad as £3 each. They only do 3 different sets though and a few colours are duplicated. I've been considering the Stabilo 68 pens. Honestly, 42 years old and excited by felt tip pens... Note to self: get a life!

"I have a back full of Copic markers and pro markers. Really expensive pens but they are awesome for comic book style artwork. " I'm not capable of anything that could be described as artwork, unfortunately. Colouring books are my limit.

"Ladies as you all seem to be in the know can you still get the things I described earlier . They used to come in like packs of 4 I think they were like card board and the characters on them instead of being printed lines were made from like a soft fluffy velvet stuff . " yeah i can get them in town.. roughly about £1.50 and come with 4 or 5 really cheap pens
