I think it a little odd but it doesn't offend me when people ask.

I just tell them I quite like my underwear collection as it is, thank you very much.

It's not weird, but a lot of us wouldn't just give away our stuff coz it costs money. One guy offered to buy undies for ladies so they could give them back to him worn, i think that's reasonable.

I actually sell mine online on a site for that so wouldn't take up anyone on the above anyway.
